While spring and summer bring to mind refreshing sunshine, it's also a season of often dreary rainy weather.

This year, in particular, there have been many chilly, slightly foggy days, and I wanted a suitable outerwear for the humid season, which led to the creation of this polo collar cardigan.

I generally dislike rainy, humid days because they leave an uncomfortable feeling on my skin and hair. However, gazing at the gray, misty cityscape of Tokyo from an air-conditioned room, or experiencing the fog-like rain in a forest after a drive, somehow brings a sense of calm.

With such foggy, rainy days in mind, it is offered in a single heather gray color called "Fog."

While wool might typically be associated with winter, its ability to absorb and release moisture actually makes it a suitable material for humid seasons like the rainy season.

Silk also possesses similar moisture-absorbing and releasing properties, and its smooth texture ensures it doesn't cling to the skin when worn directly.

Therefore, even on humid days, there's less of a sticky feeling on the skin, and it feels as if a thin film is gently embracing the body. This is where the comfort unique to this material lies.This time, by knitting with two strands of this yarn held together, it achieves a thin yet appropriately dense and stable feel.

I wanted to create a knit that you naturally reach for during those slightly ambiguous in-between seasons, rather than a thin, trendy knit made only for summer.
