With a fluffy, brushed feel like a peach and a thin, soft lightness, and a neutral sage color, it possesses the quietness and lightness of a spring misty meadow.

Attracted by this material, which has an exquisitely soft texture, we created the design from the material itself, resulting in this balmacaan coat.

Although we were drawn to the texture and exquisite coloring of the material, this fabric was no longer available. Unable to give up, we consulted with the fabric store. As a result, this fabric was woven once again for BORNE, a brand that had yet to be seen.

It took approximately three months for the fabric to be woven, and waiting for it caused the exhibition schedule to be postponed from its original plan. Due to these circumstances, this fabric holds a special place in our hearts.

To bring out the soft, thin, and relaxed texture of the material, it is tailored in a long, vertical silhouette that falls straight down while having volume. The neckline is not too tight, and the form allows for a natural and relaxed fit.

Against the flat and gentle texture of the material, sculptural buffalo buttons with hollows are added to create a subtle depth.

A wool-blend collar cloth is used on the inside of the collar. While serving to gently support the thin fabric, when the collar is raised, a rigid gray line appears, tightening the face area.

 I believe that raising the collar is mainly for when your neck is cold. But doesn't it also subtly convey a desire to appear a little more dignified than usual? This bi-color collar was designed with that small sentiment in mind.

A delicate zipper pocket is placed on the inner chest. We recommend using it for your smartphone or a slightly heavier wallet.

While there are also pockets on the front, the fabric of this coat is thin and soft, so if you put items in them, their weight can pull on the front body and affect the silhouette and comfort when you move. With the desire not to compromise the light wearing comfort, we have incorporated subtle details.
