I designed these taffeta slacks because I wanted to express the deep, technical late-night vibe, like Deep House, in a wardrobe.

Every year around mid-April, an outdoor club music party called Rainbow Disco Club is held.

I love spending that free time listening to music until late at night in the mountains of Izu, which aren't quite early summer yet, meeting friends who love music whom I rarely see, and relaxing in a hammock.

On the other hand, the mountains of Izu have large temperature differences and it often rains. In such an environment, I felt the clear nature of the air and the urban, sharp club music. I wanted to incorporate that contrast into the wardrobe.

These pants look like nylon pants worn at festivals, but they are a bit different from outdoor wear, with a subdued and modern feel. They are functional, but don't overtly look like functional clothing. I think that balance is just right.

The material used is water-repellent silk nylon taffeta. With 45% silk, it achieves a deep, rich black that nylon alone cannot produce.

Because it's a deep, dark black reminiscent of midnight, we've named this color "Midnight."

These pants embody both the functionality for listening to music in nature and the quiet tension reminiscent of an urban night.
